March 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This is a free meeting.

The topic of the meeting is:

Exam question

Why does the process for duty to refer work whilst other cross boundary referrals don’t?

We will examine the responses to our survey & look at the current and emerging context for cross boundary referrals.

We will consider 3 themes:

  1. Relocations – focus on RS services and voluntary arrangements from charities
  2. Statutory moves – s198 inc arbitration, Domestic Abuse
  3. Reciprocals – if and how they happen

We will be asking all those attending to participate by bringing their operational experience, views, suggestions  and by responding to online Teams questions.

This will be followed by a Legal and General news update.

Who can and should attend?

Attendance is limited to 2 delegates per council. Because of the technical nature of the meeting we ask that you send officers familiar with the operational and legal issues of the Housing Act 1996. Please check with your manager before booking that you are the most appropriate person to attend.
